What is a marketing health check?
A Marketing Health Check with Communications Edge is a diagnostic tool designed to assess how well your current marketing is performing.
It looks across key areas — strategy alignment with business goals, transparency of reporting, customer acquisition channels, content effectiveness, SEO visibility, and competitor performance — in order to identify both what’s working well and where there are opportunities to improve.

The Free Marketing health check includes 2 sessions that should be 45 minutes long:
Session 1
- We look at how effective you are at generating new leads from Google / AI search.
- We look at the technical performance of the website, how fast it loads on mobile and desktop, how the content of the site performs in Google.
- We look at a minimum of 5 competitors to see how they are performing and if we can learn any lessons.
- We look at how effective your website Domain is within Google, are the pages optimised, indexed and have they any issues.
We deploy four tools to do this Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Lighthouse & SERanking.
Session 2
We present a simple plan to address the findings in three stages:
- Short Term 30 days
- Medium Term 30-90 days
- Long Term 90+ days
Both sessions are free, involve 2 days research & summarising.
How is the health check delivered?
The Sessions are online - Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.
Session 1
They involve showing you the results of the research of two of the tools and "with agreement - getting access to the other two tools, you simply have to authorise this"
Session 2
We present back a plan of how we'd tackle a short, medium & long term plan to accelerate the performance, in a way that is 10X faster than agencies, up to 40% cheaper and 15 times more effective.
